We strive to provide access to information, resources, and support so that underrepresented students can do their best work at Indiana University.

Campus & Community Partners

Creating educational pipelines to college for underrepresented students from K-12 schools involves collaboration with a variety of community partners. Through these partnerships, IU and community members work side by side to offer programs and activities that support students and their families and prepare young people for the academic rigors of college.

Some of CSP's community partners include:

  • The Banneker Community Center
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • Indiana Community Schools Network
  • Providence Cristo Rey High School
  • 100 Black Men

In addition, CSP works closely with OVPDEMA's five culture centers on the Bloomington campus to foster a spirit of inclusivity, understanding, and respect. Check out the video links below to meet the people and places that help make IU such a welcoming environment for current and prospective students:

These are just a few of the organizations dedicated to helping us inspire and empower today’s youth!

Learn. Live. Lead. CSP aims to help you:

  • Learn more about a particular field of interest with connections to hands-on academic summer experiences in summer programs.
  • Live the life of a college student via half-day, full day, or extended stays during the Campus Visits or Spring Shadow programs.
  • Lead future students after gaining skills in personal and academic development programs through outreach efforts such as Visit IU and IU Bound.
